CONSULTANCY GROUPS
While we are collecting all the information (pictures and bios) of the I.P.R. (Intellectual Property Rights) Consultants, I am pleased to announce the establishment of our Language Consultancy Group, ready to start work immediately. It will be composed of the five following members, whose curriculum I’m joining.
Gerrit BRENGMAN
(Meise - BELGIUM)
Birthdate: 02/04/1944
Academic and Professional Resume
• Graduated as a language teacher in 1966 (RNS Kortrijk).
• Studied German Literature (Goethe Institut Kinshasa).
• Attended the Marketing Course of prof. Kuipers (VUB Brussels).
• Worked as a language teacher in the Congo (1966-1972).
• Pursued a career in sales and marketing (1973-2000).
• Is now active as FISM executive and magical advisor.
Artistic Resume
• Performed magic part-time, later to specialize in work as an MC.
• Took up a course in stage directing and acted in several theatrical productions in Belgium and abroad.
• Judge of numerous magic competitions in many countries all over the world, including 5 Continental and 8 FISM World Championships as well as the yearly McMillan competitions in London since 1985.
• A FISM delegate since 1982, elected Deputy Secretary General in 2000, later to become International Vice- President, an office he’s still holding.
• Organized magic conventions and international shows and contributed to magic magazines in various countries.
• Honorary member of the ‘Cercle Belge d’Illusionisme’ and the ‘Club Magico Italiano’.
• Recipient of a ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ in 2011 and
