RESULTS OF THE BALLOT
The online consultation conducted from April 25th to May 31st turned out to be very successful. Never before did so many delegates cast their vote. 77 out of a total of 91 delegates responded (84,61%), representing 417 of a total of 450 votes (92,67%).
We’re glad to inform you that all proposals were adopted with a large majority.
1) Change to the Statutes
Substitute the name "PRESIDIUM" by "BOARD OF
DIRECTORS" - 407 YES 8 ABS 2 NO 97,60%
2) Admission of New Societies
MAGISK CLUB ÅRHUS, Denmark
(President: Ms. Anna Jensen)
The club, was founded in 1935, has 145 members
and was supported by:
• “Magisk Cirkel Danmark”, Denmark
• “Magiske Cirkel Norge”, Norway
• “Svensk Magisk Cirkel”, Sweden
They will be represented in the General Assembly
by 5 votes
411 YES 1 ABS 5 NO 98,56%
BANGLADESH JADUOKAR PARISHAD (BJP),
Bangladesh (President: M. Mohammad Ullah
Safir Sikder)
The society was founded in 2003, has 319
members and was supported by:
• “Magic Union Korea”, South Korea
• “Budapest Magic Club”, Hungary
• “Malaysia Magic Ring” ,Malaysia
They will be represented in the General Assembly
by 7 votes
403 YES 4 ABS 10 NO 96,64%
MAGISCHER CERCLE WIEN (MCW), Austria
(President: Mr. Kurt Freitag)
The circle was founded in 1989, has 17 members
and was supported by:
• „Club Magico di Roma“ Italy
• „Magischer Klub Wien“, Austria
They will be represented in the General Assemby
by 1 vote
369 YES 0 ABS 49 NO 88,49%
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP OF MAGIC
Preparations for the European FISM Convention (September 24th - 28th, 2014) aboard the luxury Cruise Ship “Classica” are in full preparation.
Let me remind you that you can still register at reduced prices and that, as far as the cabins are concerned, the rule “first come, first served” applies. (www.ecm2014.com)
