WORKING GROUPS
At the meeting of the General Assembly in 2006 the formation of several “Working Groups” was promised, but up to now no action has been taken.
It is high time we did something about it. As you all know, in FISM we all work on a “voluntary basis”. So, it hasn’t been easy to find qualified people for these important tasks.
After a long search, we are now ready to announce the establishment of these groups and the people who have accepted to assist the BoD in these important matters. Each group will be composed of three to five persons (although more may be added in the future). They will work on:
-‐ EDUCATION
-‐ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (I.P.R.)
-‐ COMMUNICATION
-‐ LEGAL CONSULTANCY
The group members are, and will, not necessarily be chosen amongst the Presidents or Delegates, but on a basis of their professional and cultural background and experience to make sure that an efficient job and a qualified support can be guaranteed.
A biography of each of them will be attached to the newsletter(s) as soon as they are known.
The first group, ready to start work immediately, is the one dealing with Communication. It will be composed of the five following members whose curriculum I’m joining :
